Bilingual Family Health & Resource Advocate
NortheastFamily Star Montessori is actively seeking a fulltime bilingual Family Health & Resource Advocate for our NE Denver location. This position is part of a team that provides optimal health and comprehensive services for children, families and the Family Star community in accordance to the standards of Early Head Star/Head Start, Colorado Child Care Licensing, and our mission.
The Family Health & Resource Advocate manages health and nutrition services for children, implement and support ongoing health initiatives and other special projects promoting health literacy, equity, and food access. This role is also responsible for administering and facilitating health services and collaborates with the School, Family Services and Child Services staff to provide quality health and nutrition services for enrolled children. This role is a fulltime non-exempt position that reports directly to the Health Nutrition Program Manager.

Salary Description- $21.00 – $23.00 hourly full-time
Assistant School Director
Northwest & NortheastThe Assistant School Director provides essential leadership and operational support to ensure the smooth, high-quality day-to-day operation of Family Star Montessori’s early childhood programs. Working closely with the School Director, this position helps oversee classroom excellence, staff supervision and development, enrollment and family engagement, and compliance with Montessori philosophy, State Licensing requirements, and Early Head Start/Head Start Performance Standards. The role supports the implementation of operational systems, policies, and procedures while using data and monitoring tools to promote continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and program quality.
The Assistant School Director also manages daily school operations, including staffing, classroom ratios, substitute coordination, building operations, health and safety compliance, training and certification tracking, enrollment support, family tours, attendance and data systems, and administrative functions. This position collaborates with internal teams and external partners, participates in community outreach and recruitment efforts, provides classroom coverage as needed, and serves as the School Director’s designee in their absence. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, collaborative leadership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting time-sensitive deadlines.

Salary Description- $50,000-$60,000 annually
Substitute Teacher
The Substitute Teacher plays a vital role in ensuring continuity of care and learning for children by providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging Montessori classroom environment across Family Star Montessori’s two Denver locations. This part-time position supports children’s social, emotional, and academic development by fostering respectful interactions, maintaining prepared learning environments, following health and safety procedures, and collaborating closely with teaching teams to ensure smooth daily classroom operations. Substitute Teachers provide classroom coverage as needed, assist with Montessori materials and daily routines, maintain required documentation, and uphold all Family Star policies and licensing requirements.
In addition to supporting children, Substitute Teachers build positive relationships with families through professional communication and collaboration, participate in family and community events as needed, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning by engaging in training, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
